The era is moving forward but Bangladesh Police seems to be going backward day by day. While dialing 911 abroad can solve all your emergency problems, this rare facility is like having the moon in your hand. This time, police support on Android phones has also been launched in Bangladesh.

This system was launched for the first time in Bangladesh by the hands of Uttara Assistant Commissioner of Police (Petrol) Masruf Hossain (Northern Crime Division). On his initiative and two young computer engineers of BUET (both former cadets and BUETians) Md. Tariq Mahmud and Md. This Android app was launched with the help of Mansur Hossain Tanmoy.

The advantages of the apps include- Firstly, with the help of the apps you can easily find your nearest police station. Also you can directly call the OC of that police station or the officer in charge.

Secondly, in case of any danger on the road or an accident like fire, you can call your nearest police station with just one click. For this, you don't have to come to the police station with difficulty and you don't have to memorize the phone number of the police station.

Thirdly, various types of police services and their details can be known through this app. You can also give your advice to the police.

Fourthly, in this app, you will also get instructions on who to talk to at the police station in case of any kind of problem.

You can see the map of the nearest police station by standing at any corner of the Dhaka metropolitan area. The new apps will also show you the easiest route from your location to the nearest police station.

Apart from this, the benefits that you are getting in the apps of Uttara Police Division will be there.

In order to make this new app a good app, two of its developers (Computer Engineer Tariq Mahmood and Tanmoy of BUET) have opened a page. On this page, suggestions and ideas can be shared to improve the quality of the app. They requested to cooperate with suggestions.

Masruf Hossain said in this context, the things will be easily mastered by reading the "user manual" of the app. We are launching this app for Uttara Division on an experimental basis from today. If you call, the Uttara policemen should give you maximum assistance. The Honorable Deputy Police Commissioner of Uttara has informed me that he will issue a written order to every police station and outpost tomorrow in this regard.
