Applications invited from interested candidates for Old Age Allowance, Widow/Spouse Leave Allowance, Disability Allowance
Details

Candidates with following qualifications are requested to apply online by 10/09/2023.


Eligibility and Conditions for receiving Old Age Allowance:

(1) Be a permanent resident of the area concerned;

(2) must have birth registration/national identification number;

(3) Age should be minimum 65 years for males and minimum 62 years for females.

shall take into account the age prescribed by the Government from time to time;

(4) The annual average income of the candidate should be less than 10,000 (ten thousand) taka;

(5) To be selected by the Selection Committee.

(6) Active mobile number developed in own name

Note: National identity card, birth registration certificate, SSC/equivalent examination certificate should be considered for age determination. In case of any dispute, the decision of the concerned committee will be considered final.


Ineligibility for Old Age Allowance:

(1) If the Government servant is a pensioner;

(2) In case of VGD card holder as a distressed woman;

(iii) in receipt of regular Government grants/allowances in any other way;

(4) In receipt of regular financial grant/allowance from any private organization/social welfare institution.


Eligibility and Conditions of Recipient of Widow or Husband Nigrhita Allowance:

1. Must be a permanent resident of the concerned area;

2. Must have Birth Registration/National Identification Number;

3. Preference will be given to aged destitute and distressed widows or widowed women;

4. A person who is destitute, destitute, almost landless, widowed or widowed and having 2 children below the age of 16 years will get priority in getting allowance;

5. The destitute, the poor, the disabled and the sick among widows and widowers will be given priority in getting the allowance;

6. Average annual income of the candidate: Must be less than 12,000 (twelve thousand) taka;

7. To be selected by the selection committee.

8. Active mobile number developed in own name.


Eligibility and Conditions for Recipient of Disability Allowance:

1. Must be a permanent resident of the concerned area;

2. According to the Rights and Protection of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2013, registration and identity card must be obtained from the social service office. The disabled person shall receive registration and identity card from the district where he is a permanent resident;

3. Applicant must be disabled;

4. Candidate must have National Identity Card or Birth Registration.

5. To be selected by the selection committee.

6. Active mobile number developed in own name.


 Ineligibility to receive Disability Allowance:

1. If a government employee or a pensioner as a government employee;

2. If receiving regular government grants in any other way;

3. If regularly receiving financial grants from any private organization/social welfare organization.
